On this page you will find resources for visitors aged 14+ to help you prepare for a visit to the UK Parliament. The resources explain what you will experience on guided tours and information for when you are inside Parliament.

Sensory Map 

Download our sensory map (pdf, 524KB) to assist you on your visit.

The sensory map includes;

  • where you will find bright or low lighting
  • strong smells
  • crowded areas
  • changes in temperature

The map also shows where can rest, toilets and changing facilities, and emergency exits.

Book sensory bag for your visit 

The bag contains various sensory items, from fidget toys to different textures of fabric and a pair of ear defenders.

Pre-book your sensory bag as an add-on ticket onto your audio tour to use during your visit to UK Parliament. If you have booked a guided tour, you can ask a member of staff upon your arrival in Westminster Hall if there bags available on the day. 

The bag must be returned before leaving UK Parliament.
