UK Parliament Study Programme 2025

In June 2025, the UK Parliament welcomed the UK Parliament Study Programme 2025 cohort to Westminster.
The UK Parliament Study Programme (UKPSP) brings together parliamentary staff from around the world to learn about the procedures and practices of the UK Parliament and to share knowledge, ideas and experiences of parliamentary processes and administration.
This year’s participants are drawn from parliaments from across the world, including Anguilla, Australia (ACT), Canada, India, Ireland, Montserrat, Japan and New Zealand.
This year’s programme has seen participants take part in a series of five online sessions covering various procedural and corporate elements of the UK Parliament. Sessions covered areas such as select committee scrutiny, participation and outreach, and culture in Parliament.
Participants’ engagement with the 6-month long programme cumulated with an in-person visit to Westminster which will allow them to meet with colleagues from across the House of Commons and House of Lords. Participants also had the opportunity to deliver presentations, reflecting upon elements of their own parliaments. deliver presentations, reflecting upon elements of their own parliaments.
In the autumn, the UK Parliament will welcome another group of colleagues from parliaments across the world for a short version of this programme.
